Es war nur eine Frage der Zeit aber nun setzt auch Digg das Nofollow Attribut ein. Ausschließlich alles Nofollow ? Nein es geht darum Spammer und SEOs die Nahrung zu nehmen, die Digg für Ihre Projekte zu Nutze gemacht haben.
Es hat mich sowieso immer wieder erstaunt das alles bei Digg auf follow ist auch die Kommentare und Profile.
Das wird sich jetzt also ändern, Links denen Digg nicht traut werden auf rel=”nofollow gesetzt. Wie dass ganze aber funktionieren soll wird nicht beschrieben, eventuell wird einen Blacklist angefertigt oder eine Spammer Melde Funktion eingeführt. Sonst wüsste ich nicht wie man manche Links ausschließen will, zumal es ja nicht 100 sondern Tausende sind. Eine andere Möglichkeit wäre das erst nach einer bestimmten Anzahl von diggs der Post follow wird und z.b alles unter 200 diggs nofollow. Ich werde mal dran bleiben wie das jetzt wirklich gemacht wird und euch dann ein Update geben.
Ich denke auch Google war Digg lange Zeit ein Dorn im Auge da auch manchmal Content gehypt wurde der wirklich nur zum Linkbuildung und Trafficbuilding da war und in Googles Augen nicht guter Unique Content war.

So ich habe mir mal die Digg Seite genau angesehen alle Links sind nicht auf nofollow! Post die es unter “Popular” geschafft haben werden mit einem follow belohnt. Alle anderen werden mit einem nofollow abgestraft zumindest im Moment.

We’ve made a few changes to the way Digg links to external sites that may impact some folks in the SEO community. These changes reduce the incentive to post spammy content (or link spam) to Digg, while still flowing ’search engine juice’ freely to quality content. We’ve added
rel=”nofollow”to any external link that we’re not sure we can vouch for. This includes all external links from comments, user profiles and story pages below a certain threshold of popularity.This work was done in consultation with leading experts from the SEO/SEM and link spam fields, in an effort to lookout for the interests of content providers and the Digg community. As always, we will closely monitor these changes in the wild and iterate based on feedback.

Ich hasse diese Scheiß Nofollow-Bewegung. Kann man die Bedeutung des Attributes nicht einfach abschaffen… Ich glaube nicht, dass die heutige Nutzung zu 100% im Sinne der Suchmaschinen ist.
Ohne den nofollow-Tag könnten sich Blogs und Foren nicht mehr vor dem ganzen Viagra/etc.-Müll retten. Wenn man sich so manche Support-Foren kleinerer Firmen anguckt, die restlos (automatisch) vollgemüllt sind, kann man schon dankbar sein, dass auch die Content-Spambots das nofollow größtenteils beachten
.
Wenn man sein Blog/Forum konsequent kontrolliert gibt es keinen Grund für nofollow, aber eine Existenzberechtigung gibt es in vielen anderen Fällen sehr wohl.
